William P. Gibbs – Founding Board Member

Mr. Gibbs is President and CEO of Technical Resource Management, Inc. (TRM). TRM’s principle division, Norchem Drug Testing, provides substance abuse testing and program management to law enforcement agencies and children and family service organizations throughout the U.S.

Mr. Gibbs’ passion for operational excellence has directed him to apply lean manufacturing practices to the clinical laboratory. These changes to traditional laboratory operations have produced significant improvements in both quality and throughput, and helped propel Norchem to a national presence.

Mr. Gibbs has been in his current role since 1997. From 1991 through 1997, he served as CEO for Alliance Medical Laboratory, Inc., which provided clinical testing services to physicians, hospitals and clinics across northern Arizona. During his tenure with Alliance, sales grew an average of 30% per year for 6 years.

Mr. Gibbs received his Bachelors Degree in Microbiology from the University of Arizona in 1978. He received his Arizona “secondary education” teaching certificate in 1980 from Northern Arizona University.
