Jeanne Ambruster – Board Chair

Ms. Ambruster is CEO of The Avenues Company, an innovative marketing company with clients from the medical device, pharmaceutical, diagnostics and biotechnology sectors. She has been in this role for over ten years, primarily focused on commercialization and the translation of bioscience innovations from bench top to clinical practice.

Prior to founding The Avenues Company, Jeanne was instrumental in growing W.L. Gore’s medical device business to over $300 million in sales. She also launched and completed a successful IPO for a genetic testing company, Interleukin Genetics (ILN), focused on the role of inflammation in several common chronic diseases.

Jeanne received her Bachelors Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Pitzer College (Claremont, CA) and did graduate work in Neurosciences at UCSF Medical School before pursuing her career in industry.
